The first consignment of the nasal Covid vaccine has arrived in Kolkata and may soon be given as a booster dose to the 18+ age group.
iNCOVACC has arrived at Woodlands Hospital and will be filed as soon as the government notification is issued. Developed by Bharat Biotech, iNCOVACC will cost Rs 990 per jab. Vaccination will be done at Woodlands Hospital and beneficiaries can come and register at the OPD counters.
"The vaccine is only recommended as a booster," said Rupali Basu, MD & CEO, Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Ltd.
"We have purchased 50 doses of iNCOVACC. We will replenish our stock if needed," Basu added.
