Television actor Raja Chaudhary has made fresh allegations against his former wife, actor Shweta Tiwari, claiming that she had relationships with several people during their marriage, including her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star Cezanne Khan. The remarks were made during a recent interview in which Raja spoke about the breakdown of their marriage and the circumstances leading to their divorce. Shweta Tiwari has not responded to the latest allegations.
Raja claimed that the problems in their marriage began years before their divorce was finalised in 2012. Recalling an incident from the early 2000s, he alleged that he saw Shweta arriving at the set of Kasautii Zindagii Kay in a vehicle associated with Cezanne Khan, which led him to suspect they were in a relationship. He further claimed that whenever he questioned her about the alleged affair, the discussions ended in disputes over his alleged drinking habits.
During the interview, Raja also alleged that Shweta had affairs with "each and every person" she worked with, while claiming he had no evidence beyond his personal experiences and suspicions. These allegations have not been independently verified, and neither Shweta Tiwari nor Cezanne Khan has publicly responded to the renewed claims.
Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary married in 1998 and have a daughter, actor Palak Tiwari. Shweta filed for divorce in 2007, accusing Raja of domestic violence and abuse. Their divorce was granted in 2012. Over the years, the former couple has made several public allegations against each other regarding the reasons behind the collapse of their marriage.
Shweta had previously dismissed rumours linking her to Cezanne Khan, stating in an earlier interview that she had neither the time nor the inclination for an affair while working continuously on Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She also denied reports suggesting any reconciliation with Raja Chaudhary. The latest controversy has once again brought their past relationship into public discussion.
