"Only Trinamool can halt BJP, nationwide": Mamata at election rally
A significant development emerged on Wednesday regarding the third phase of the teacher recruitment examination in Bihar, as the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced the cancellation of the examination. The decision comes amidst grave allegations of misconduct and reports suggesting the leakage of the exam paper.
The BPSC took this step after six days of scrutiny following the allegations of paper leak during the third phase of the teacher recruitment examination. BPSC has accepted the evidence given by the Economic Offenses Unit. According to the evidence of EOU, the paper of the third phase examination held on March 15 was leaked by an organized gang. Now BPSC will release the second date of the third phase examination.
Following investigations into the paper leak, the EOU team arrested the main accused, Vishal Kumar Chaurasia. After interrogating him, raids were conducted in several districts of Bihar, as well as in Jharkhand and West Bengal, revealing substantial evidence. Among the findings were a large number of question papers found stuffed in bags near the Economic Offenses Bureau.
The Economic Offenses Unit has lodged an FIR against 276 individuals involved in the case. Vishal Kumar Chaurasia, a resident of Vaishali, is reportedly the mastermind behind the organized paper leak scheme. Notably, he has aslo been the main accused in similar question paper leak cases in Odisha and Delhi and also was in jail.
The BPSC will now announce a new date for the third phase of the teacher recruitment examination.
