West Bengal Governor Dr. CV Ananda Bose exercised his voting rights at Polling Booth No. 75, located at Saraswati Vidyalaya in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

After casting his vote, Governor CV Ananda Bose, “Voting symbolises the power of the common man. every citizen must strengthen democracy and the nation. No one should lose his vote. We all should be participants in the development of the nation… Kerala’s enlightened voters will certainly rise to the occasion and by evening you’ll see the swell in voting percentage, which will exceed even the national percentage."

In the electoral arena of Thiruvananthapuram, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, a three-time MP, is contesting against Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar of the BJP.
