In response to safety concerns arising from the collapse of a nearby building, Kolkata Municipality proceeded with the demolition of a house on J 474 Paharpur Road, which was observed to be leaning onto another structure. While the owner, Rajkumar Singh, disputed the lack of prior notification, municipal sources maintain that notices had been served earlier.
