Police raid at Subhendu Adhikari's rented residence in Kolaghat
Rajak Tola Pachrukhi in Etwa Panchayat, under the jurisdiction of Dharhara police station in Munger, as a retired female railway employee was fatally assaulted by her neighbors amidst a land dispute. The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the community, saw the perpetrators flee the scene after the attack. Upon receiving news of the assault, authorities from Dharhara police station swiftly responded, detaining one suspect and initiating further investigation into the matter.
The deceased, who resided alone, was survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, who are employed as doctors in West Bengal. As the news of the tragic event spread, the deceased's married daughter arrived at the scene, expressing anguish over the loss and alleging that the attackers had looted her mother before carrying out the heinous crime.
