Air India revises baggage allowance policy, economy flyers now limited to 15kg
The Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, unveiled a new initiative on Thursday aimed at enhancing accessibility to legal proceedings. CJI Chandrachud announced that the court will now disseminate crucial information, including cause lists and case filings, directly to advocates via WhatsApp messages.
Cause lists, which detail the cases scheduled for hearing on a specific day, will now be conveniently available to advocates on their mobile phones.
During a hearing before a nine-judge bench chaired by Justice Chandrachud, the announcement was made.
“This facility and service will bring in a significant change in our daily work habits. It will go a long way in saving paper and our planet Earth,” Justice Chandrachud added.
