High drama unfolded near Kolkata's Tala Bridge on Tuesday evening when an unidentified young man climbed a lamppost and began performing dangerous stunts during peak office hours. The youth stripped off his clothes after scaling the post and repeatedly showed videos on his mobile phone in an apparent attempt to convey a message. The unexpected spectacle quickly drew a large crowd, causing temporary traffic congestion in the area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, personnel from the local fire brigade rushed to the spot to initiate a rescue operation. Emergency responders initially attempted to bring the youth down using safety nets, but the man escalated his jumping and refused to cooperate.
