Heavy turbulence in Delhi-bound Air India flight injures several passengers & crew

Air India has confirmed that Flight AI2379, operating from Phuket to Delhi on August 4, experienced a brief turbulence-related event during the cruise phase of the journey, resulting in a momentary change in altitude. The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers and crew members disembarked without incident. According to the airline, no serious injuries have been reported. A small number of passengers and crew members who sustained minor injuries requiring medical assessment were taken to a medical facility at the airport for precautionary examination and care by Air India's airport team and medical personnel. The airline stated that the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain its highest priority and added that it is providing all necessary assistance to those affected while fully cooperating with the relevant authorities as part of the investigation.
