State Minister Dilip Ghosh has launched a scathing attack on Left parties, accusing them of orchestrating the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP) movement in the wake of examination paper leak allegations. Speaking in the context of a Left delegation visiting Bankura on Monday to meet the bereaved family of a worker, Ghosh alleged that communists are responsible for creating anti-social disruptions under the guise of public protests. He echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Red Fort speech targeting Maoist ideologies, characterizing the agitators as anti-national forces and assuring that the West Bengal government will maintain zero tolerance toward any law and order violations.
Reacting sharply to the Left’s outreach efforts, Ghosh remarked that communists habitually instigate such movements and stir havoc across communities. He further cited past agitation experiments in Delhi, claiming that those involved are now facing the consequences. Assuring strict vigilance by the state administration, Ghosh emphasized that no individual or group will be permitted to destabilize public order or create unrest within West Bengal.
In response, CPM spokesperson Shatrup Ghosh mounted a firm counteroffensive, challenging Dilip Ghosh's claims regarding administrative strength and law enforcement. Shatrup Ghosh questioned the political narrative surrounding governance in Bengal compared to Delhi, alleging that strong rhetoric relying on police protection changes drastically once administrative control shifts.
