A passenger died after being struck by a mail train while crossing the railway tracks at Chunchura railway station on Monday afternoon. According to Bandel GRP sources, the passenger was attempting to cross from Platform No. 1 to Platform No. 2 when he was hit by a down mail train approaching on Line No. 1. He sustained fatal injuries and died at the spot.
