Three crushed to death under Rajdhani Express in Jharkhand

Three youths were crushed to death under the Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express while crossing the track at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Gomoh railway station of Dhanbad railway division on Friday evening.

Gomoh RPF Inspector Vijay Shankar told that the incident took place around 8.25 pm on Friday. They were crossing the track to platform No. 3 meanwhile the Howrah-New Delhi bound Rajdhani Express passed and got under it.

Howrah – New Delhi Rajdhani Express has no stop at Gomoh railway station. After the incident, various parts of all three youth victims were found within a radius of about 500 meters. "The victims, who were relatives and friends, were identified late last night as Manoj Sab (19) of Barwadda, Dhanbaad, Shiv Charan Sab (20), Gomoh Bazar and Babloo Kumar (20) of Gomoh bazar," RPF Inspector Vijay said. The official said the three youths had alighted at Platform No. 4 of the station from Asansol-Gomoh passengers and were crossing the track to Platform No. 3 when the incident occurred. Rather, they were walking through the platform and trying to cross the track.

Relatives of the victims' families also arrived at the station and identified their relatives based on their clothes and garlands around their necks after five hours of inspection late at night from Friday to Saturday.
