Ranbir Kapoor summoned by ED as witness in Mahadev betting app scandal
We have Salman Khan's new song, and it's time to celebrate. The song titled 'Bathukamma' is from his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and stars Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh D. Salman returned with short hair and appeared for ten seconds during the ending. After the internet's mixed opinion about the film's other songs, this one is quite apt. At least for most parts. Dressed in a head-to-toe Indian avatar, Pooja fits in easily and is convincing as she sings.
The track itself doesn't stand out as fresh material, but it's not a bad attempt either. Coupled with the visuals of the exotic flowers used in the Bathukamma festival, the high-contrast treatments make for a fun watch.
We have to deal with the appearance of Bhaijaan in the song. Dressed in a shirt, lungi and short hair, Salman Khan glows, perhaps too much this time thanks to the anti-aging effects used again.
It's not his first time, and it won't be his last. Some of Hegde's frames also look affected. Apart from the abrupt cuts here and there, this track has potential that will only be clarified after the release of the film.
Santhosh Venky, Aira Udupi, Harini Ivaturi, Suchetha Basrur and Vijayalaxmi Mettinahole are credited as lead vocalists.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hegde. The film is directed by Farhad Samji. It is produced by Salman Khan Films in association with Zee Studios.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be released in theatres on April 21.
