Recently, actress Rani Mukerji traveled to Amritsar and visited the renowned Sri Harmandir Sahib, or Golden Temple to seek heavenly blessings.

Rani is seen standing in front of the temple with her hands folded in an image that has been doing the rounds on the internet. As her movie "Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway" is playing in theatres, Rani paid a visit to the Golden Temple.

In the movie, Rani plays a woman fighting the government to protect her children. The Journey of a Mother by Sagarika Chakraborty served as the inspiration for the movie. "Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway," directed by Ashima Chibber, also features Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh, and Anirban Bhattacharya. The movie premiered on Friday.

Once her children were taken away from her and placed in foster care, she took legal action against the Norwegian government to demand their return before they were 18 years old. Sagarika Chatterjee is a mother who had similar experiences.

Several people are praising Rani's performance. Rani's act as a mother received appreciation from superstar Shah Rukh Khan as well.

SRK stated on Twitter, "What a tremendous effort by the whole team of Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway.  My Rani shines in the central role as only a Queen can. Director Ashima shows a human struggle with such sensitivity. Jim, @AnirbanSpeaketh, #Namit, #SaumyaMukherjee, #BalajiGauri all shine. A must-watch."

Rani and SRK have been pals for a very long time. The two have collaborated on a number of movies together, including "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham," "Chalte Chalte," "Paheli," "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and "Veer Zaara" among others.
