Is MS Dhoni carrying an injury? Is he fully healthy and ready for IPL 2023? These are the thoughts that went through the fans' heads when they witnessed Dhoni limping during a training session prior to the IPL 2023.

According to a source, Dhoni was hesitant to participate in the net session and chose to cover part of his left leg with a camouflage suit. In order to examine his condition, the CSK captain stretched and pressed his leg toward the ground. He then approached the nets as the audience cheered him on.

The fact that the CSK skipper was also running cautiously is troubling, and CSK would undoubtedly worry about Dhoni's fitness. He frequently stopped in the middle due to knee pain.

Dhoni hit sixes, which energized the Chepauk crowd. After leaving the international stage, Dhoni made his maiden ground-based appearance.

The season opener for CSK is against Gujarat. The famous Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the game.  In two games, Gujarat has beaten Chennai twice. CSK hopes to start things off by changing that with a victory. That would give Dhoni and his team the ideal start.
